Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, 16 February 2024 – Telekom Malaysia Berhad has been honored with the coveted Automation Project of the Year award at the prestigious Automation Days Asia 2023. The award, announced during the virtual conference held on November 21-22, 2023, was presented to Telekom Malaysia Berhad by Cybiant, co-organizers of Automation Days Asia. The award presentation took place at the Telekom Malaysia Berhad office on February 16, 2024, with the presence of Cybiant MD, Jan Willem Middelburg, and Cybiant Head of Business Development, Mr. Jeremy Chia.

The esteemed Automation Project of the Year award was bestowed upon Telekom Malaysia Berhad in recognition of its outstanding Proactive CTT automation project. The judging panel highlighted that the project demonstrated exceptional outcomes in customer satisfaction, operational efficiency, and financial savings. Telekom Malaysia’s Proactive CTT automation project notably reduced customer interaction efforts, earning the company two prestigious Customer Experience awards and underscoring its commitment to high standards and substantial contributions to customer experience.

During the award announcement last year, Soo Chern Tien, Assistant General Manager of RPA Business Analysis & Solutioning at Telekom Malaysia Berhad, conveyed the team’s heartfelt appreciation for the recognition. In a statement, he expressed gratitude for the collaborative efforts that played a pivotal role in the success of the Proactive CTT automation project.
