Cybiant offers the following learning options for this course:
E-Learning – 3 months access
The e-learning option provides students with access to an e-learning environment with pre-recorded lectures, exercises and quizzes. You can complete the course in your own time, at your own pace. This option provides access for 3 months, and includes the official exam.
Virtual Training – 2×2 hours per day
The virtual training option is an online class taught by a live Cybiant instructor. You will receive a meeting invitation to participate in the live lectures. Our virtual training courses are organized in 2 x 2-hour sessions per day to accommodate some other work. Official examinations are included in the pricing.
Classroom Training – full day
The classroom training option will be conducted by a Cybiant instructor in a 5-star hotel. You will participate in a live training and meet other participants. Breaks, lunch and exam voucher are included in the pricing.

Target Audience
This course is designed for ITAM professionals. IAITAM strongly recommends prior CSAM/CHAMP certification and/or a well-founded working knowledge of IT Asset Management and an understanding of your own organization’s business model.
Exam Structure
- The online exam is available for students starting on the last day of class; and is available from 14 days from this point. One hundred (100) questions are on the IAITAM CITAM exam and a passing mark is achieved by attaining 85% or higher.
- Testing requires non-interrupted internet connection and may be taken at any time during the open period; once a test is started, students are required to complete it during that session and are permitted up to 3 hours to complete. However, it is suggested to take the exam as soon as possible following the course.
- Exam results are available immediately after completing the exam within the IAITAM Exam Centre.
- One test retake is free of charge for those that fail to achieve pass status on the first attempt; retakes are available after a 24 hour window of the first attempt and must be completed during the 14 day open period. If the second attempt is unsuccessful, the exam may be repurchased at non-member pricing. No discounts apply.
- If a student is unable to complete the exam and retake (if needed) within their 14 day window, a one-time seven (7) day extension can be purchased for $50USD; this option must be completed before the initial 14 day window expires.
- If certification is not achieved or exam time frame lapses then students will have one year to purchase the exam again. After one year has expired, the course must be purchased and may be acquired at membership pricing.

This course gives a good overview of the concept on how ITAM interacts with other function team within the organization and giving the overview of the eco-system to future CITAM. My recommendation for further improvement is that the course mainly provides the concept or relationships among department and KPAs, it is better to provide technique to tool that help attendee understand how would it be easier archive and adopt.
