According to the World Economic Forum’s Future of Jobs Report, 50% of all employees will need reskilling by 2025, as adoption of technology increases. The Digital Up Program is an initiative from MDEC to encourage working Malaysians to reskill or upskill via digital tech courses offered in MDEC’s Digital Skills Training Directory. Digital Up training incentive provides up to RM 1,000.00 per pax to eligible Malaysian workforce to reskill/upskill in Digital Technology related courses and programs. There are more than 60 available courses and programs to choose from, and all of the courses are verified by our industry experts.

In partnership with MDEC, Cybiant is offering 3 official certification courses which can help you obtain some of the important digital knowledge areas such as Automation, Big Data and Agile Project Management. The course details are provided below:

Visit MDEC’s Digital Up website to register an account to be eligible for the incentive. There are more than 60 digital technology related courses for you to choose from. Once you have registered your account with MDEC, use the search bar to look for the courses above and proceed to sign up accordingly.

Who is eligible for this incentive?

For participants/trainees:

  • A working Malaysian aged between 24-50 years old (including Gig worker with valid SOCSO account).
  • Fulfilled the criteria and pre-requisites of the selected Digital Technology Training course.
  • Training is not paid or claimed under MYWiT incentives or HRD levy.
  • Must not be MDEC’s staff/board directors or employees.
  • Has not received and/or claimed other reskilling and/or upskilling incentives from the Government for the year 2022.
