AgileBA guidance offers helpful, practical, and comprehensive guidance on the role of the Business Analyst working in an agile way (the Agile Business Analyst).
The Business Analyst is a critical role within an agile project team, and with more and more organizations adopting agile approaches, we need to ensure those performing this crucial role have the necessary skills and expertise. The AgileBA syllabus and exams are based on the AgileBA Handbook (published by the Agile Business Consortium). The Handbook offers the first comprehensive set of guidance, framework, and practices for the business analyst working on an agile project.

Cybiant offers the following learning options for this course:
E-Learning – 3 months access
The e-learning option provides students with access to an e-learning environment with pre-recorded lectures, exercises and quizzes. You can complete the course in your own time, at your own pace. This option provides access for 3 months, and includes the official exam.
Virtual Training – 2×2 hours per day
The virtual training option is an online class taught by a live Cybiant instructor. You will receive a meeting invitation to participate in the live lectures. Our virtual training courses are organized in 2 x 2-hour sessions per day to accommodate some other work. Official examinations are included in the pricing.
Classroom Training – full day
The classroom training option will be conducted by a Cybiant instructor in a 5-star hotel. You will participate in a live training and meet other participants. Breaks, lunch and exam voucher are included in the pricing.

Learning Objectives
The Agile Business Analyst Foundation certification provides business analysts involved in Agile projects, large and small, with the tools they need to adopt an agile approach. It gives advice on focus and value-delivery and guidance on working with business stakeholders, developers, testers and outlines the skills needed to deliver solutions incrementally.
It equips the business analyst with techniques to incorporate Agile approaches into a programme and to align change with organisational objectives. The Agile Business Analysis Foundation course is a professional training and certification scheme to support those working in (or aspiring to) an Agile Business Analyst role. Upon course completion, participants will:
- Successfully gather, analyse, validate and champion the requirements throughout an agile project
- Identify stakeholders, personas and their involvement in agile
- Describe the competencies and techniques of an Agile Business Analyst
- Understand the Business Analyst role in the agile team and the organisation
- Capture and manage effective requirements for incremental solution delivery
- Recognise how an agile business case differs from a traditional business case and present a lean business canvas
- Learn how modelling techniques fit into an agile environment
- Understand the importance of facilitated workshops
- Understand the different ways of working as a Business Analysts in agile environments
